My 29 year old boyfriend insistes on spanking my 15 year old daughter as a last resort...is this inappropriate?

I think that's inappropriate. First of all, she is YOUR 15 year old daughter, not his, correct? By any means, he does not have the right to put his hands on your daughter. I don't think any one should put their hands on their children, especially at the age of 15. And being that she is not his daughter, she may even fight him back, and that is serious. Do not allow him to do that to your child. If she is refusing to obey rules and what not, try talking with her civilly, not arguing. Has grounding her ever worked? And threatening to take away her privileges? Seek some counseling if it comes down to it, just do not allow your 29 year old boyfriend to lay his hands on your 15 year old daughter.

I think if you are questioning it, I think you already know the answer. I don't feel that a boyfriend should be spanking any child especially one that isnt his own. I also don't think a 15 year old should be spanked.

Depends on who does the spanking. If u do it then yes its perfectly ok.
If he does then its wrong and you shouldnt't have near ur daughter ever again

He's only 14 years older than her! he has no authority!!!! she is YOUR daughter... stand up to him...
