Well you see one day I was dusting the floor when suddenly my dog started to attack it. It is blue and she goes crazy when she gets it. We had tried everything from hidding it to putting it far away in the garage. I would throw it away but I need it. my dog is a full yorkie and I can not stop her. What should I do?

My dog is the same with the water hose....
just like most things, training with dogs starts with a leash
so put a leash on her and give a correction and say no when she tries to attack. another important thing is that you cannot ever condone this behavior. It might seems cute at first and you all will be laughing giving her the idea that this is okay, acceptable behavior. never condone this stuff and always get on her about it.
also use positive reinforcement; when she does not attack it when you have it out, give her praise.

She either thinks it is a toy or she is threatened by it. You will need to desensitize her to it. Yorkies are not known for being obedient or responding well to training, but if you are game, it is worth a shot.
Get a friend or relative to get out the dustmop and you have your Yorkie in your arms with her collar and leash on. Let her down on the floor far enough away from the dustmop so that she cannot reach it.
Have your friend use the mop as you would, but do not get near the dog with it. You will probably have to do this several times (sessions or days) before she stops being upset and trying to get the mop.
When she starts to stay calm in the same room with the mop being used, allow the mop to come a little closer to her. If she does not act like she is trying to get the mop, let the mop get even closer to her, untll the mop can touch her and all she does is sniff it.

Try it out. Good luck
