I've had visions in my dreams and im not sure but is God trying to tell me something? For example, when my grandmother passed I was real depressed and even cried one night when I started thinking about us in the past so she and God came to me in a dream. I dont even remember what God looked like but I knew it was him and she was there standing next to him in the gates of heaven. She told me to not worry about her and that shes doing fine, I never felt depressed when thinking about her since then without no professional help.
So, plus that and the multiple visions i've had.. do you guys think God is trying to tell me something and/or is protecting me. I can see that hes trying to protect me with that dream about my grandma, but what about the visions? I know its not deja vu.. I see it in my dreams and then it happens in real life, so what do you all think?

Everyone from time to time will have a dream about "God." Its symbolism depends on the dreamer. God in our dreams can be considered a positive or self affirming symbol. It represents truth, purity, and love. It also represents the creative energy which is abundant in all of us (whether we know it or not). For a certain number of people, in the dream state, God may have negative connotations. For them God could represent eternal punishment, damnation, and invoke massive amount guilt. Most religions consider dreams to be a pathway to God or to the spiritual realm. Through dreams we have an opportunity to have experiences which are not available during the day. Our unconscious mind may be more capable of connecting to the eternal flow of spirit and it may be the dwelling place of the soul

The dream about the Lord and your grandmother was a comforting dream and yes God was telling you not to worry that your grandmother is fine. God's dreams are comforting and assuring like this. The visions you made no mention of what you saw. I have never had a disturbing dream or vision from God. They have been comforting and assuring. They have given me hope. The Bible, God's Word, tells us to test the spirits. In dreams and visions God would never do anything to harm us or make us sad or be different from what we know from reading His word.

I know what you mean, having experienced this myself. It is two separate and different things.
God does minister to the broken hearted, His angels sometimes ministering in dreams and visions. The distress is then gone and a feeling of love, peace, clearness and well being follows for awhile after. The Bible has many examples of angels doing things like this. Some have a message, some are just God showing His love for you.
The other ones, that seem like deja vu... are just that. More than a premonition, these dreams or visions, at least for me, were usually of inconsequential and nonsensical events. They seemed to have a certain vibrational quality or sense to them... you simply know that they will happen. When the event happens in real life, you know and sense it, and can suddenly recall the whole thing, having that sense of "being here before" kind of thing. To me, it is confirmation that God is in control, that our life is in His hands. It gives predestination another perspective. They both usually happen spontaneously, not "at will" thing you can control.
Some of these happened before I was "born again". The Spirit used some of these events to show me that God was there for me even then, before I knew Him. The deja vu ones do not have that spiritual quality to them, but serves to remind me how little control we have about life, and that keeps me humble and thankful. I still have the real life events happening occasionally, but the visions were mostly when I was in my twenties. Fear not, and may God bless you, as it seems that He already has in regards to these events.

I can kinda sympathize with you. After my grandfather died, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace at his funeral that to this day I attribute to God reassuring me he was okay and that I would be . In Joel 2: 28 it says "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions." But take caution though and remember 2 Corinthians 11:14 which says that Satan "...himself is transformed into an angel of light." Stay in the Word and scrutinize what you see based on what it tells you. I've had dreams come true off and on for most of my life. I can tell you that you should feel privileged that God is sharing with you such knowledge.

I hope it's God telling you something. Because that would be pretty awesome. But then again, this kind of thing happens sometimes when demons are trying to deceive you.
This is probably a really lame thing to say, but I don't have a straight answer for you. Just keep praying. Ask God through prayer if it's Him telling you and showing you these things. He'll tell you for sure.

God does communicate with us in dreams a lot of times because he cares so deeply for us. He knew you were concerned about your grandmother passing so he let you know she was okay. This may sound crazy but I think we may have existed before were born and were shown our lives on earth and that maybe why we have such realistic deja vu's. God says in the bible that he knew us before we were born.

God used to communicate to his Prophets by means of dreams and visions but he hasnt done so in 2,000 yrs he does use the bible to get his message accross to people by means of his servants today and as far as communicating with dead people the Bible plainly says in the Book of Ecc 9:5,6,10 that the dead cannot communicate with any one as they are dead uncounscious the dont think ,speak or feel period nor are they disembodied souls as Ezekiel 18:4 says the soul that is sinning it itself will die so the demons like to lie to people and decieve them into thinking they are a dead loved one hope this answers your question best wishes Gorbalizer

god dosnt do visions ,your grandmother can come to you in dreams ,it not unusual ,but it is rare for people to remember,
our relitives can and do communicate with us regular ,but we seldom remember
in a way she was boasting [good on her]about the gates it takes a lot of good works to get that far so fast
there are texts available at angel fire ,life in the world unseen describes one battle to just get to the gates
links up to other works [gone west /heaven and earth ,a wanderor in spirit lands ] so you are lucky
dont let her down

Possibly. Are you into clairvoyance? If so you are being deceived by satan or your own mind.
