First up, I don't see any statistics proving your point. No Jew in his right mind denies the holocaust. As for defending terrorists, it is the American tradition to defend your clients under the name of the law. A good lawyer does not let his personal judgements get in the way of serving a client. A good lawyer views himself as part of the American law system, and knows that if all government was based on petty personal issues instead of structure, nothing would get done.

I do not believe this broadly applies to Jewish people... there are a wide variety of opinions and people.... and while it is true some are off the wall it might also show some amount of respect for differences of opinion and tolerance...
I would not at all consider Jewish people self loathing and perhaps say the opposite

I would say that Judaism is the MAJOR religion with the most amount of self hatred.
However, there are countless cults that involve self hatred to higher degrees
