When searching for Broadway musical Cds, I've had good luck searching Barnes and Noble. From what I have experienced, they have a good selection of not only different musicals, but different cast recordings as well.

If you are anywhere near Manhattan, Colony Music definitely has the most extensive selection. It is on Broadway near times square (around 49th st.). Otherwise, Tower Records is usually pretty good, or check amazon.com

borders.com has some really good sections where all the cd's are 5.99 and under, 7.99 and under... stuff like that. Once, I had a $10 gift card and I managed to buy 2 cd's (with shipping.) Plus, they have a pretty good selection.

If you have a Tower Records near you, it is incredibly helpful to buy stuff there. I bought most of the Cd's for my plays at Tower Records.
