OK, I have already mastered Chinese(Mandarin) very well. And i was thinking of learning Cantonese. But I don't know anyone who speaks Cantonese, so, I was thinking if anyone would be happy to teach me Cantonese, I would really appreciate it!!

Anyways, does anybody know Cantonese?

I do and Cantonese is my mother tongue (I also speak fluent Mandarin as most of the Chinese population do).

Historically Cantonese can be said to combine Mandarin and SE Asian languages in phonetics (althought Cantonese and Mandarin adopt the same writing system). You'll discover how hard it is to pronounce certain consonants when you learn Cantonese.

I see no point in learning Cantonese. The Cantonese province (Guangdong) uses Mandarin in favour of Cantonese. Soon Hong Kong and Macau will follow suit. Don't waste you time to learn a dying language unless you want to research on the ancient southern Chinese culture.

Cantonese is just a local dialects in Guangdong Province and almost all the Cantonese can speak Mandarin well.

That's right.
The only difference between Mandarin and Cantonese is speaking, not writing.
