That's what my mom did to me and I must be my mothers daughter because I do it to my children too.
When my mother did that to me I knew that I was going to have a serious meeting with my father when he got home from work. OUCH!!

Well most people think it does mean you are in deep doodooo but really it depends on the tone of voice and delivery really ,,,, It's all in how you can read your parents mood mostly ,,,, I would say you can tell what that might be though especially if you know you've already done something you know you shouldn't have ,,,, there might be several reasons why your mother might use your whole title but it can be stressful at times lol ,,,, in the worst case scenario it might be wise to slip a magazine down the back of you pants as a buffer against an object striking that part of the anatomy lolol

Ya, I do it to my son, and my mom did it to me.
It was just the first and middle name though, I guess sometimes she said my last name too then I knew I was in deep deep trouble. I think this is why we have middle names. So our Moms can yell it as fast as they can when we are in trouble.

Not Universal, no. The Universe includes Mars, Venus and all the stars you see at night.
However, if your mom is yelling, she is probably upset at someone and since its your name that she is yelling... I'd take a wild stab and say she was mad at you. Just a theory :-)

Maybe that's why so many celebs and others are just using one name. They got yelled at in all 3 names tooooo many times! Maybe it was to tough for Adam and Eve having kids with just one name they couldn't get that right emotion in with just one name. So would that be "name evolution"?

Some moms do yell the child's whole name but I don't remember ever doing that to any of my children.

Sometimes it does mean that I'm in deep trouble when my mom yells my full name. Then yet she does it just to make me think that i am in trouble. Nothin' really bad though.

my mom did with me...and I have a long name. Scared the bloody hell out of me. Especially when I heard it echo throughout the neighborhood.
