if you were shy would you want your girlfriend to make the first move by kissing you? or would you get up enough nerve to do it your self?

I was a very shy guy before... but after I get to know girls more, I am not shy anymore.
It will depends on the situition, if the girl is not shy... I will wait for her move....
If the girl is shy, I will make my move...

If I was shy and I had never kissed a girl before, I would hope that my girlfriend would make the first move. Most girls say that boys have to do most of the 1st time stuff (boys ask girls out, boys buy things for girls, etc.), but sometimes really shy boys freak out asking people that they really like out. I say just go for it.

Generally as a rule guy make the first move. It's expected and if we get rejected it's not as bad as a woman getting rejected. As a man we are supposed to the aggressor of the sexes. If this guy has not made a move it would be either because it's not the right place or he's too nervous to know to make a move.

I mean I am shy before asking a girl out but not anymore afterwards...but I also want her to know that I am not dating her for physical satisfaction,so even if I feel like kissing , I don't want her to take it wrong...So I would always like it if the girl makes the first move...untill I am comletely comfortable with her.

being shy myself i would like the girlfriend to make the first move, the more times this happens you start to learn when the girl (u) in this case wants kissing and eventually start making the move are selves but sorry to say at the moment you have to start it

I would hope I would get up the nerve to do it myself. But as a pretty shy guy especially in my younger years I would have wanted the girl to make the move. I am glad I never had to resort to that.however.

A shy guy will defenitily never make the first move. He'd want his girl to start.

I think that you need to allow them to make the first move, generally speaking, regardless of "what they would want."
It's not your place to remedy his lack of courage.
Most people on this board are liberals, and are pretty clueless in general. Don't listen to them.
That being said, I do think there could be some exceptions - for example if the young man is a perfect gentleman in every way. Then, it might be okay to make the first move.

You'd better do it, then they will stop being shy! If one is shy and the other isn't then the one that isnt shy should make the first move to make the sky person not shy...

Well, me I would rather make the first move. I would not feel like a man if I didnt. (pride issue) It all depends on how long you're willing to wait on him to make the move. When it gets to the boiling point then you should go ahead, and make the first move.
