how do you uninstall Winodows Live Messenger?

i downloaded the new MSN messenger and it just screwed up my computer and i want to get it off my hard-drive ASAP.

If you have Windows XP, go to the start menu, and click on Run. Type appwiz.cpl in the box, and click OK. Find the appropriate software name, and click remove. Follow the on-screen instructions and uninstalling should be easy.

go to control panel :
start / setting / control panel / Add/remove programs,then uninstall the program.

you go to My Computer add and remove programs and then you look for that program and click remove
