My girlfriend thought it would be fun to give me a hickey last night while I was sleeping after me repeatedly telling her not too. I work in a very professional building and things of this nature are not allowed. I would just wear a turtleneck, but we aren't allowed too. Please help.

you can't make it go away, but you can hide it. Use a highly pigmented concealer to cover it up. I think a green or blue toned one will hide a reddish hickey well. If you have time, go to a costume or makeup supply shop. They have concealers specifically made for covering up tattoos. That will cover a hickey.
If you're in a crunch for time, get some concealer from your girlfriend. Pile it on, and set it with powder. Pray.

There is no way to get rid of a hickey despite whatever anyone else says. It is a bruise, and as you know with bruises you can't get rid of them on your own. It'll go away on its own. Best thing to do if you don't want it to be seen is to cover it up with makeup. You may not like the idea, but it works

A hickey is similar to a contusion which takes several days to disappear. Sorry, you can't speed up the healing. That was very thoughtless and immature of your girlfriend doing that inspite of you telling her not to. Something to think about.

Im sorry but theres no way to speed up getting rid of a hickey. The only thing you can do is put makeup on it, hell i have even seen people put band aids on one and passed it off.

Sorry honey there is no way for it to go away over night, you can put ice on it but it will still be there. Put a bandaid on it and say you cut yourself shaving or borrow a little foundation to cover it up. Good luck

Rub toothpaste on the hickey, or freeze a spoon(like the one that you eat with) in the freezer and then hold it on the hickey until it unthaws,or if all else fails use a concealer that you find in cosmetics that is yellow. that covers it up completely and you will never know it is there.

Your in deep sh*t. Your going to have to skip work for a week. Your boss won't forget it if your hickeys are seen by co workers or clients. But! If you make up something like you have tonsillitis, you will get a ton of sympathy from everyone & you won't have lost any respect. You better tell your missus to pull her socks up.
