If the Pain is Not Tolerable,YES---You Say Stomach ---That Covers a Lot More Organs Than Just Your Stomach---There is Your Gall Bladder,Your Liver,Your Esophagus,Your Pancreas,Your Aorta(Main,Large,Vertical Artery) and Large and Small Intestines---But When You Say Radiating all the way around to your Back That Says Nerves---Having been In Medicine For 50 Years---I Could Give You a List that Would Choke a Horse!!!---Needless to Say,Do Not Mess With It!!!! Get to your Family Doctor---Get the Proper tests, and Trust Them to find out what is Wrong---If You Are Not Satisfied Then Get a Second Opinion,By all Means....BUT ABOVE ALL,Don't Wait For Something to happen----That Can't Be Repaired---Trust the Professional---BE Well,Relax---Signed---JEM

Most of the pain on our front side is caused by muscles on our back side.

Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

If you are truely concerned, I'd go to the ER...espeically if you have other symptoms. (like fever, vomiting, etc.) If the pain is just unbearable, I'd go to the ER tonight. Otherwise, I think you'd probably OK waiting til morning.

urm- well do you have fever? cuz it could be something in your intestins [meteorism - or whatever- can't sp this word] or might be just air- like how you could descrbe the pain if it feels like someone were stabbing you i guess you should go to ER or just a normal clinic to tell you wants going on if the pain persist after 30 mins
