IF anyone has stayed ina homeless shelter please answer these questions for me?

Understanding that being in a shelter is the the most popular place ot live, what did you find GOOD or DECENT about where you lived? (the spcae, sleeping arraingments, customer service, services/programs offered, etc.)

What did you find BAD about the shelter?

Wht services, arraingments, programs, etc. would you like to see in a homeless shelter/program?

Are you male or female?
Children? YES OR NO?

If you had children int the shelter withyou what did you find helpful to you in helping your children make the transition?
What services were provided to your child(ren) that you found HELPFUL and NOT SO HELFUL?
**Thank you so much for you feedback!**

Transitional shelters are a much better alternative then living on the streets. They serve 3 meals everyday. You can sleep there at night. They are usually safe and secure. They have social workers that can help you discover the resources in your area. They can help you find employment, and eventually get you into a place. Good luck. God Bless.

Shelters do not examine you out. The police do not do random exams in shelters, yet whilst a homeless person needs to rousted from a doorway, some officers could examine. the biggest situation with checking homeless for warrants isn't very lots of them have an identity. Plus, a reformatory delivers 3 hots and a cot. it somewhat is not continuously a bad prospect in comparison to living in the back of a dumpster.
