Ok, I am 30 weeks pregnant. I am single and have men asking me out. Ok, I am fine with that. However, a discussion came up among a group of friends that I was involved in. It involved having sex while pregnant. Ok, well, I am ok with having sex while pregnant, but only with the baby's father. Although me and my ex will not rekindle and are not sexually active with each other,
I find it kinda weird or almost gross, the thought of having sex with another man, when a woman is carrying another mans child. I expressed my views on the issue and they didnt understand my thoughts on the issue. It just seems wrong to me in some way.
Do I think weird or what?
To clarify...I have been called a bit old fashioned. I dont sleep around, and dont sleep with everyone i have a relationship with. I am very conservative in that aspect of my life.

So, with this said....what are your thoughts on it?
Am I alone in my personal opinion of the matter?

you are certainly entitled to feel any way you wish, I have never been pregnant with out being married except the first time, So it was just natural that I would not have sex with anyone but spouse.

No, I don't think you're "weird". I think it's refreshing to find someone who doesn't "sleep around". I don't know what the circumstances are between your baby's father and yourself, but I'm sorry it didn't work out.

I still believe in marriage, still think children deserve to be born into a stable loving family. I think women get the short end of the stick when they live with someone without being married. The man has all the benefits of marriage, with none of the commitment or responsibilities.

I think people jump from one relationship to another without ever taking a breath. They don't take the time to work through their feelings or issues before they move on to someone new.

Don't let anyone tell you that you are "old-fashioned", morals don't go out of style. Good luck to you and your baby.

i agree with u 100%. u have set high standards for yourself. dont let no man invade u and your baby other than the father. having sex while preganant can reap conseqeunses for u and your child such as STDs, the father would not be sure he is the father and probably not support this child. when other ppl find out that u having sex with other men they may criticize u and stuff. i mean wait until u have had this child to be in another relationship. give the whole 9 months and more for u and the father to sort through the birth of this child. dont bring no1 into this.

i am glad u have common sense. trust me u are not weird. as u can see other ppl agree fully with u. dont jeopardize what u and ex already have.

From a guys point of view. I wouldn't want to have sex with a girl who is carrying some other guys baby.

Although I would date her and would be okay being with a girl who does have a child or children, but sex while she's carrying some other guys baby.. no, thanks.
Well, maybe... if I was in love with her... guess it really depends on the people involved.

No. I'm with you on this. Everyone has differing opinions, but don't be led by them. You are doing what feels right for you. I actually think it's kind of creepy to let someone other than the baby's father "invade" your body while the baby's in there too. But again, that's MY opinion. Stand strong. It sounds like you have a good sense of personal integrity.

Well, I respect your values of not having sex while pregnant. On the other hand, things are really tough in this world right now, and if you met someone who could be a good provider for your child then I would consider making a connection. Only of it is someone you respect... but don't let ideas hold you back from reality. Unless you were born rich, your child needs security, as a lion mother I say, any way you can get it, with self respect!

I understand your thinking. I think you would be weird to have sex with other men while pregnant. You have morals and I respect you for that. Not much of them going around these days. Good Luck and stick to your principles. You are not weird.

I totally agree with you! Stick to your beliefs. If you don't stand for something then you will fall for anything. If I was pregnant, I might be, but yea If i was then the last thing I'd be thinking about is sleeping with men who aren't the father of my child. I like you.....You have morals!

Having sexual intercourse while being pregnant can make you lose your baby. Having said that I think you have good reason to think the way you do. Try to deliver before engaging in any sexual activity. Take care and good luck.
