Religion is man created. It is a grouping of people who believe in a certain way of worshipping and realizing God.
God did not create religion neither does He require you to follow any specific one. It doesnt matter to Him even if you do not follow a religion.
Here is what He wants of you.
1. Be contended with what you have.
2. Share what you have with the needy.
3. Make others around you happy if you can.
4. Do not create problem for others.
If you can do the above, you have performed the best worship to God which no religous worshipping can equal.
May God bless you.

What makes you think that you have to follow a religion to love God? Religion is man made, and very definitely imperfect. Religion, no matter what religion, can be corrupt. My suggestion is to honor God as the Creator, try as much as you can to follow the teachings of Jesus, and let religion worry about itself.

What Church? Scripture reveals this Church to be the one Jesus Christ built upon the rock of Saint Peter (Matt. 16:18). By giving Peter the keys of authority (Matt. 16:19), Jesus appointed Peter as the chief steward over His earthly kingdom (cf. Isaiah. 22:19-22). Jesus also charged Peter to be the source of strength for the rest of the apostles (Luke 22:32) and the earthly shepherd of Jesus' flock (John 21:15-17). Jesus further gave Peter, and the apostles and elders in union with him, the power to bind and loose in heaven what they bound and loosed on earth. (Matt. 16:19; 18:18). This teaching authority did not die with Peter and the apostles, but was transferred to future bishops through the laying on of hands (e.g., Acts 1:20; 6:6; 13:3; 8:18; 9:17; 1 Tim. 4:14; 5:22; 2 Tim. 1:6).
By virtue of this divinely-appointed authority, the Catholic Church determined the canon of Scripture (what books belong in the Bible) at the end of the fourth century. We therefore believe in the Scriptures on the authority of the Catholic Church. After all, nothing in Scripture tells us what Scriptures are inspired, what books belong in the Bible, or that Scripture is the final authority on questions concerning the Christian faith. Instead, the Bible says that the Church, not the Scriptures, is the pinnacle and foundation of the truth (1 Tim. 3:15) and the final arbiter on questions of the Christian faith (Matt. 18:17). It is through the teaching authority and Apostolic Tradition (2 Thess. 2:15; 3:6; 1 Cor. 11:2) of this Church, who is guided by the Holy Spirit (John 14:16,26; 16:13), that we know of the divine inspiration of the Scriptures, and the manifold wisdom of God. (cf. Ephesians 3:10).
Here you will know the truth for it is the holder of all truth given by Christ to His Church through the Holy Spirit

Christianity!
probably the reason the "Jesus is God" concept is confusing, is because Jesus was intellectual. He revealed His Divinity in subtler ways than most people like, such as not rebuking Thomas for calling Him God, saying that "before Abraham was, I am", and saying that He, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit are parakletos: which is Greek for "of the same essence, or one in the same".
origins, all you really need to know is that God created man in His own image. It doesn't say watched man form, it says made. God makes your soul, gives you a spirit, and you live your life in the body the soul was designed for.
for the ending of human life, all you need to know is that you'll either spend eternity with or without God, and the latter is undesirable. You can learn the concepts of soul, sinfulness and spiritual laws later. they shouldn't affect your faith in God.
You don't need to know all yet, just the basics: Jesus, who was God the Son, died for your sins and the only way to come and know God is to be born again: repent, accept Christ as Lord and Savior, try and be baptized.

You should take this quiz.
I was never a fan of online quizes, but it asks you what your beliefs are, things like if you support or are against gay marriage, and how important is caring for the earth to you...
Then it tells you what religion in the world is the closest to what you already believe. I have a big problem with the concept of 'learning what you are SUPPOSED TO believe'.

Here's a link for you to check out. They have a quiz. Take it and you will find out something about yourself. The only other thing I could tell you is to research all of the religions and pick out the one that best fits you in terms of your beliefs and morals.

Look up the history of the Sumerians, then you can decide.

P.S
They do not teach this in school or church, if they did then they would have no power over you.
