Quick answer: To convert from American calibration to millimeters divide by 4, thus a .50 Caliber becomes a 12.5mm.

To convert from millimeters to caliber multiply by 4. A 12.5mm becomes a .50 caliber. This is just a shortcut, but will give you a quick answer that's close enough for non-percision work.

Point(.)50 caliber ammo would, by definition, be
0.125 mm in width.

If you REALLY meant 50 caliber, it would be close
to 12.5 mm.
