Death
Why do you lurk in the shadows
there amongst my memories
why do you laugh so laudably
there amongst my fears
Demons
why do haunt
there in the recesses of my mind
why do you speak in tongues
there in the darkness of my night
God
why do you give me free will
here on this pergatury
why do you not banish manking
here on this hell
There are days where I wonder
and somedays I even declare
God have mercy on mankind
for everyone must die

Dark mood? I think you are just being retrospective in examining life. Prime argument that religion should be tossed and do what your heart asks of you.
