IRS CI special agents are duly sworn law enforcement officers. they do drive unmarked vehicles and they do drive vehicles with lights and sirens.

IRS agents do not have lights and sirens, as there is not an emergency nature to the crimes they investigate. Since they have enforcement powers, I guess technically they are "police vehicles" but not in the traditional sense. They generally drive around in a standard GSA-issue Fusion or Malibu.

most drive ordinary auto's -- never heard of an IRS special agent driving and unmarked police vehicle.

They get government cars to drive, but they are not
police cars nor do they have lights and sirens.
