I've tried the protein drinks + lifting method. Didn't work. I've tried eating 6 "meals" a day. Didn't work. I've tried eating a lot right before I go to bed. Didn't work. Any suggestions? I'm 6'2" 165.

eat and work out that way you will build muscle. (idk)

Here's a good tips
Exersice regularly ( play sports)
Do not skip your meals, eat 3 times per day
Eat more food that have calories and protein like eggs, potato and meat.
Drink more water always keep yourself dehydrate.

Eat High calorie and fatty foods seven times a day.
Rest inside your bedroom the whole day

I think you need to eat more like 3 plates a day

Go to Mickey D's ( Mc Donalds ) Jk you'll die. Eat stuff like taco bell everyday. It's healthy and you gain weight!

My husband is 6'1 and 150 lbs. He can't gain weight for the life of him. Not to worry - as long as you are healthy, everything is OK.

Keep working out to strengthen what you have, and be glad your metabolism doesn't work the other way. Oh... get your thyroid tested.
