One door leads to death and one to life. One person only lies and one person only tells the truth. What one question would you ask to find the door to life?

I would ask:
"If you were the other guard, which door would you tell me is the door to life?"
If I had approached the truth-telling guard, he would point to the door to death (the other guard would lie, remember, and tell me death was life) and I would go through the other door.
If I had approached the lying guard, he would also point to the door to death, because his partner would have pointed to the life door, and this guard always lies.
So approach either guard, and then go through the OTHER door.

I would ask any of those guards, "If I ask the other one where the door of life is, what would he say?" After he answers, go to the opposite of the door he said.

one question to pose for each guard:
"if i ask the other guard where the door of life is, what door would he say it is?"
the door that they both point to is the door of death.
for example:
A - door of life / B - door of death
> if you ask the liar: he will say that the other guard will say B was the door of life (since he is lying he will say the opposite of what the other guard will say)
> if you ask the truth teller: he will say that the other guard would say B was the door of life (because he knows that the other one is a liar and will say B is the door of life)
>therefore, the door of life is A.
