For me it was "In eternity will you be in smoking or non-smoking." Having to explain that to my kids pretty much ensured none of them ever wanted to be christians. Just how calloused it was.

What are your favorites? Did you know you can make your own here? http://www.churchsigngenerator.com/

"Come see what god has done!" Made me think of a young puppy having puppy accidents.

My personal favorite:

"Get right, or get left."

Not callouse in the least, but it would require some explaining to the children. I think that's kind of the point... Yours was a good one too... Very literal context.

I see "God Answers Knee-Mail" a lot. I think it's only memorable because there like 50 churches on my way to work and at least a half dozen have that on their signs at any given time.

maximum church outside signs and indications are lame. i have seen a lot of them, yet i actually do no longer save in ideas. i recognize Jesus inspite of the truth that. And the individuals who did those signs and indications do too. Christians are dorky human beings. Like, kinda humorous lame dorky.

My favorite was "Get on your knees for Jesus". I couldn't help but think of the sexual overtones since there was a sign for a strip club right behind it.

"we will explain the parables and free you of your toils"

"good bless the military" - it was on the sign in front of the goodwill store in my hometown - not a church, but it seemed ironic nonetheless

dont get me wrong; i admire those who fight for those who cannot fight for themselves (i have friends in the military)

there was one time a couple years ago when some pranksters changed whatever sign was up to "we don't think in your churches, so don't pray in our schools."
