one boy has been a good friend for 7 years.i am dating him and have been for the past two years. We have had many bumps along the road. I love him, but he has changed. He plays with drugs now and he has lied to me on several occasions. I'm attracted to him, however he doesn't have a strong relationship with GOD anymore and i don't want to attach myself to someone who will bring me down. I am afraid to trust him.
The other is some one who is extremely outgoing, religious, funny and i have only know him as a friend for about a year. He has already expressed his love for me three times and he is always doing creative thing to make me feel better.
I'm going off to school soon and and the first boy i cant trust to be away from, than the second boy i feel i can. Only the second boy i haven't known for as long and I'm not as attracted to him.
what am i to do?

You said three important things: 1) you can't trust him. 2) He's on drugs. 3) He is bringing you down. That should be enough to tell you to break up with him. You don't necessarily have to go out with the second guy unless you just want to. It's perfectly fine to be by yourself. U don't need to be with someone to feel good. If you do then you should work out your personal problems. If the second guy is someone who you just want to be with then go for it. It's not fair to your bf to be flirting with some other guy behind his back. It's not fair to the 2nd guy to flirt with him when you aren't going to leave your bf for him. It's not fair to you to be in a relationship that u don't want to be in.

You dont choose EITHER of them.Why? First boy is a loser.You do not want to be mated to a druggie, if you want to know why look at the lives of some girls who have been shackin or married to one for about 5 yrs.You'll understand why.Dump boy#1 and tell him to get some help for his problem.The other boy doesnt need to be used as a security blanket.Just because he is there and available for you is not a good reason to pick him.You have said knowing him a yr wasnt long enough for you to start dating him.How long did you know boy 3 1 before you started dating him?Next, you said you werent attracted to him.He has told you he loves you.He doesnt need you to use him as a temp b/f until you find something better.Tell him you just dont feel the same way and move on.THEN wait until you meet a guy your as attracted to as boy#1 and acts like boy #2.You'll be doing both boy #1 & #2 and yourself a really really big favor.

If you are still not that attracted to a guy after a year, maybe you should pick door # 3. There is going to be someone for you at school who is funny, sexy and trustworthy. Trust me, there will be lots of those someone's. But don't burn any bridges... your feelings might change with time about boy #2. Just don't leave him hanging, either.

the guy with the drugs is the one you will want cause girls like the ones they shoulden't be with...
the newer guy is the one you should be with,,, but if you do you will always think about the first guy...
So, ask yourself if the first guy is worth all the heartache and pain,,, or if you would prefer a sane sensible life,, but you will always feel like there is something missing....
I think you should choose the second guy... cause with both of them you will feel like you made the wrong choice, but at least with the second guy, you will not be brouhgt down to a druggies life...

the second guy is a lot better!! give him a chance at least, there are other ways of being attracted to someone. he sounds perfect, dont let him slip away without giving him the chance to prove his love for you.
