why are guys attracted to girls that rimind them of their mom? doesent that mean your in love with your mother. are you????

Not necessarily. moms take care of their kids. So as a result guys want a girl who can take care of them..that is the main thing. Plus in a decent family, kids usually look upto their parents and a boy always thinks a woman who has the trait of his mother , if the mother is a well behaved individual, to be a good woman. I do believe the same applies to girls....

Not all guys are...
Some are because they have warm, kind, reassuring memories of their mom growing up. For some men, mom is the "ideal" of what a woman should be -- and they look for similar women as mates. Nothing wrong with that, and it doesn't mean they're a "momma's boy."
Even some men whose mothers were horrible to them still look for somebody like their mom -- even if they're bad mothers, mothers are still role models to their sons. Not being able to break out of that thinking if a guy had a really bad mother causes lots of them to go after really bad women, and causes all sorts of problems.
Me? My wife is nothing like my mother -- really! OK, they're both kind, honest, and good mothers...but my wife comes from a different country, culture, educational background, religious background, and on and on. Funny thing is, they get along great -- probably because they're both kind, honest, and good mothers :)

I've heard that too. People like familiar faces and are drawn to those who remind them of people they know. I've even heard people are attracted to people who look like themselves.

i have no idea.but its the same way with girls.we are attracted to guys that are like our dads.idk why but i guess its because we are so how used to how our dads act we must figure thats how the guys we go out with should like.
