you can please some of the people some of the time. and most of the people most of the time. but you cant please all of the people all of the time.but maybe next time you can save enough for them to all come since it seems she not jealous just feeling left out.tell her it was an oversight and you are sorry but next time youll do better

We all know how moms can be! Seriously...maybe she is interested in sharing time with everyone at the same time. Does she live alone? Could she be needing some serious family time? Maybe you and your sister can share the cost of a plane ticket for your mom. If that is not an option, how about a bus ticket (not sure how long the ride would be, but an idea).

I have always been fortunate and have my entire family within 45 minutes of me, but I know as my parents are getting older and I have a child, time spent with them is very important. But you can only do what you can do. Try to explain that to her and hopefully, she will understand if the visit has to be another time.

I can understand guilt, but if your family is anything like my family, I wouldn't have invited my mother either. We kids just can't have a good time if she is around. It is not possible, so relax, have a good time with your sister, and tell your mom she can come next time, but you wanted to spend time alone with your sister, talk, and do sister things.

If you can, try to get your mom plane tickets as well. If you aren't able to do that, apologize to her and let her know that you would try to make up for it some other way. Of course, only do that if that is the truth and you want to do that...
