I think that's nice, but don't turn down the perfect guy just because he isn't a virgin! And also, don't be too surprised if you find that when you've met Mr Right you can't wait until you're married. For me personally, I wouldn't have wanted the first time I'd had sex with someone to be after we were married, but then again, I also wish that I'd waited longer than I did for my first experience - you are going to make it special, and that's great - but I do think it makes more sense to save yourself for the man you want to be with forever, and not necessarily until you are married. Also, if you ask most people, they were so exhausted on their wedding night that it was a bit of a let down!

I'm a guy and a virgin, have had many chances to lose it but don't really believe in sex with strangers, I'm not the 'no sex until after marriage type', but would say I've kept it for someone special, which I've now found so I'm glad I've kept it and am glad I'm losing it to her. When you feel like you can and only want to lose your virginity to that certain someone, I guess you know they're 'the one'.

'Awesome.'

Any other words for this state of being? Or is everything just so?

As for 'true love waits,' it's the same as saying 'it was the last place I looked for it.'

So, what happened when you marry, and then become a widow, and then meet No 2 ....? What does that do for the 'True Love' thing?

I'm not disparaging this / you. I'm just questioning the thinking, the philosophy and attitudes in general.

Good luck to you.
Sash.
