Ok, so i go to college with this girl and we take all the same classes and are very close for the majority of the year we have a great connection, and we always have an amazing time together. Id i wanted to date her but i understood that she just got out of a 4 yr relationship which ended as a result of cheating, and she needed time, which i respected. She said one day that if we ever dated it would be for a long time, which kinda scared her. cutting a long story short, we went out to the bar on friday, and i found out she had been sleeping with the mens vball coach, who was also at the bar, for 3 months, i talked to her b4 i went to bathroom, he follows me in and strangles me, tears my shirt and tells me to stay away from her. i avoid the fight because i dont need the trouble at school, and leave the bar. two days later she is inviting me to dinner to talk. it hurt me so bad and i havent slept in almost 2 days. i guess she wanted sex, but y not with me? what should i do? let her talk?

I would stay away from her. If you don't, you invite more problems from this coach.

If you decide to pursue the relationship with the girl, be prepared to press charges against the volleyball coach if he attacks or threatens you again. He assaulted you (which is illegal), and many colleges consider it unethical (and have rules against) their faculty sleeping with students. Try to avoid a fight--that's what the cops are for.

It sounds like it would be a lot to deal with this girl, and you'd be better off looking elsewhere. However, cupid makes us do all kinds of crazy things, even listening to explanations and forbivig people. Good luck.

That story is to far fetched to be reality. What type of guy who is already f@cking the girl would physically assault you?
Let us say for argument sake that it really happened. I would say that her having sex with the coach is none of your business because you 2 are not together. Most likely she doesn't like you in that way anyway because if she did she would be with you. She is just enjoying your company (using you to give her some sort of stability). If I were you, I would stop chasing her and let her do whatever she wants without me. You should try to find other girls and forget about her. It's obvious to me that she just keeps you around because you kiss up to her and she can manipulate you by hinting at the possibility of a future relationship.

she is using the Vball coach, who probably has good muscles and good stamina, to bounce from her previous relationship. you know the saying "my boyfriend dumped me ,I need a cock to rebounce". So I think she is too bad for you. I mean I think you are a very nice person seeing all the respect you gave her before she settles down from her past relationship, but at the same time she is someone who opens up her leg for someone who she probably doesn't like..the coach that is.
So either she doesn't like you and likes the coah...or ... she is the next girl hoe who can't close her leg atleast until she fiinds the right person...my advice leave her......don't even bother pursuing her.

You should have filed a complaint with the police. No one should be roughing you up anywhere, especially not someone who works for your school. I would tell her that you plan on filing charges unless there is an apology. I don't think you should help her feel better by listen to her excuses. There have to be lots of other nice girls on campus who won't say things that get you beaten up. Seriously.

This sounds very dangerous. I say politely decline her invites and do not date her until something is done about the vball coach. Or you could always get him arrested on assault charges, that would probably help.

I guess if it makes you feel better, let her explain. But this girl seems like bad news for you, and I would avoid her as much as possible. It seems like you care about her a lot, but she's not being honest with you and taking your feelings into consideration. The more you stick around, the more it's going to hurt you.

You should let her tell her side if you really have feelings for her. It's not like you have to believe what she says, but atleast give her a chance. It may have just been a mistake. And she may have wanted it but thought and felt too highly of you and didnt want to ruin that.

Ive always appreciated honesty and an explanation. Quite often relationships/friendships end with no explanation and too many unanswered questions.
