I am a daycare teacher and we like to teach the kids instead of letting them watch tv all day. i need so help on everything. How do i get them to listen?

i'm in the same boat you're in. they sit still for a min. and want to run around the rest of the day. you just have to make it fun for them. if you involve food it helps for numbers, art they love anything coloring, painting that's easy, songs anything that has movement with it the wheels on the bus, itsy bitsy spider, you get the idea, and lessons i bought those books for pre-k that teach letters and such and we do a page out of those books and movies that teach are also great. hope that helps out a little.

Oh my gosh I have a three year old that is in preschool and he has taught me so many songs that he has learned there. Here are a few ideas.

try looking on some of the teacher sites. there is alot of different ideas out there. I am a preschool teacher of 3-5 yr olds. try to find their interests and go from there

yeah in fact i had a two year old as a cousin they like to get piggy back rides and love to draw. they also like to eat snacks like gold fish good luck!
