It really depends on what you want to do with it and how you prefer to wear it. Having a lot of hair - thick or thin - does give one more options. The texture of the hair also needs to be considered.

isn't thin hair and lots of it an oxymoron? i have thick hair and it sux cause its super heavy in a ponytail, but thin hair sux too...
