Wilson's Disease is name after Sanmuel A.K. Wilson, an English neurologist, 1765-1821. It is a hereditary syndrome transmitted as an autosomalrecessive trait in which a decrease of ceruloplasmin prodices am accumulation of copper in various organs such as the brain, liver, kidney and cornea. It is also called hepatolenticular degeneration.
