WE flirt and we are such good friends!!!
however his parents started dating 5 years after they knew each other....
And i think he believes in the same thing in our relationship...
should i just date someone else? OR should i wait 3 more years before we start dating....?

You should be straight with him and ask him what he thinks and tell him what you think. When you have your answers, you decide what you want to do. Good luck.

Ever heard the saying,curiosity killed the cat? Well, that's what you are doing.Look, You see potential in this really good friend.You know he likes you just as much as you like him but in truth you are both young and have time to make things more than what they are right now.Whats your rush?? Don't be in such a hurry to grow up and become involved.If you really like him and want to be with him then focus more on what he is to you more than what you should be doing.If you truly insist on making things move faster than you are going to have to be the one to make the moves.Just always remember, no one can read your mind and do what you want unless you open your mouth and say so.Nothing wrong with being the one to make the first step towards a relationship just cause your the girl.Why cant you say,"hey, I really like you and want to date you,what do you think?"But for both of yours sake, take it slow.Your both only 16 and weather you want to believe me or not, you have no idea how much you both will change from now to 21yrs old.Don't do anything you will regret.

Get someone else if you don`t want to wait. 5 years is wayyyyyyyyy too long, by the way. Unless you guys are doing stuff couples do, but aren`t going out. That`s different. If that`s what`s happening, stay with him.

16 is the best age that u can enjoy your life with JOY ...tell me How many times in whole your life U would be again 14 ot 15..NEVER... don't waste your time and life with guys like this...GO have FUN and find a guy for TODAY and TONIGHT:)LOL
