Can anyone direct me to good website on brain damage. I want to know about when one part of the brain is damaged how another part of the brain can become stronger?

There is a lot out there and obviously why you hoped someone would direct you...

The brain can form new connections between existing neurons and the brain does appear to be able to generalize some tasks to other parts of the brain. Memory seems to be kept in perhaps 3 or even 4 places.

Brain unlike kidney and liver can not get any compensation once a part is damaged.
