Out of nowhere I'll start feeling sick, and start gagging. I throw up sometimes. Sometimes its mucous and sometimes its vomit. Does this happen to anyone else?

You could have GERD, and stomach acid is backing up into your esophagus. Trust me, this will make you vomit. Have you tried Nexium or some other acid reducing medication? You could also have a esophageal stricture of some type. See a gastroenterologist.

Could be for many reasons. You'll need to see a doctor for an accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Could you be pregnant? If not, you may have acid reflux. Go online and research this to see if this pertains to you.

I have allergies, and sometimes the post-nasal drip causes me to gag and retch. It is worse after drinking a coke or eating ice cream. (Dairy products can increase mucous production.)

You may get dozens of answers. Some may be totally off; others may smack of accuracy. But you will need to see a physician for the best diagnosis and advice.

There are lots of possibilities. It could be a virus, sinus drainage, or something else. The truth is that nobody here can diagnose you. Please see your doctor to find out what's causing this and what to do about it.
