she might be into pokemon and is complimenting you by calling you that or she thought you were really a pokemon. when someone is really into that then they accidently start calling people pokemon names. pikachu is cute so she might be saying YOU are cute. hope this helps!

Pikachu (ピカチュウ, Pikachū?) are one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise—a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards, and other media created by Satoshi Tajiri. The name Pikachu is a portmanteau of the Japanese words pika, an onomatopoeia for electric sparkling, and chū, which is the Japanese onomatopoeia for a mouse's squeak. In the Pokémon franchise, Pikachu are often found in forests, plains, and occasionally near electrical sources (such as power plants), on most continents throughout the world. It really depends on the girl, and how well you know her. It may be a term of endearment, if she thinks that Pikachu is a cute Pokemon, but on the other hand, if you really don't know her at all, and don't think that she likes you in the slightest bit, it could be a clever metaphor for nerd. Pokemon is generally something frowned upon as loserish these days, and so maybe thats where she is coming from. If she is your friend, I would lean more towards the first choice, but I don't realy know enough about your life to make a fair assessment. of course, it could also have to do with physical traits; I can't say for sure, it really depends on quite a few variables that I don't have in my possession.

A pika is a small mouse like creature found in mountain areas... so maybe youre like that, or they think you are very electrical and yellow...
