I have the most terrible hand writing ever...its all capital letters and they dont even connect together. I am a junior in high school, which makes this even more embarassing. I write like a 3rd grader, yet im in all AP classes, and my teachers wonder how I even made it that far. I would like to learn the normal handwriting that everyone uses by the beginning of next year. How would I go about that? Plz Help!

This is a horrible comment, your teacher should be fired.
You bad handwriting is not an indication of your intelligence.

Start practicing good handwriting techniques. Maybe go back to a grade school teacher, who actually teaches youngsters to write and ask for advice.. its probably just that you need practice.

We have a Teacher's Supply store near us and they sell just about all the teaching supplies that elementary school teachers use. I bet there's one near you, too. Check the Yellow Pages. If not, maybe a Borders or Barnes and Noble. In this type of teacher's store, you'll find training manuals on the basics of good penmanship. It reads as if you need to start over with learning how to write neatly and legibly. If you can give it enough practice time, I'm sure that you'll be able to improve your handwriting skills. Good luck!

If you've got the determination to do so, go to a nearby elementary school and find a teacher who teaches handwriting in his/her class - probably grade four. He/she probably has some books that her kids use, maybe you could borrow one and practice at home. The teacher might also give you other ideas for learning good handwriting.

Take art, like a drawing class. Hand eye coordination will be more developed in a drawing class. Doesn't matter if you can draw or not. Practice making all kinds of strokes.

Otherwise, you can access handwriting books online. See links below.

i think that you should buy those little handwriting books that teachers give out to 1st and 2nd graders and practice with those until you like the way that your handwriting looks.

don't be ashamed about buying them, though! i know how your teachers feel, though..my sister has HORRIBLE handwriting, lol. don't worry, though! your handwriting is a signature part of who you are! don't feel the need to change it, anyway, but if you do feel like you want handwriting then...yeah. buy the books.
