Riaz Gondal, a retired assistant police sub-inspector, shot Muhammad Ashraf point-blank. Ashraf, a member of the Ahmadi community, was accused of trying to convert good Muslims. A spokesman for the minority denounced the lack of government support. Mandi Bahauddin (AsiaNews) – A “heretic” of Islam has been killed by a retired Muslim policeman who accused him of being “infidel and of making people infidel”. The perpetrator most probably will not even be tried for the murder. On 1 March, Riaz Gondal, a retired assistant sub-inspector of the Punjab police, shot Muhammad Ashraf point-blank and killed him instantly. Ashraf was a member of the Ahmadi minority. Before firing, Gondal shouted: “You are an infidel, and are making people infidel”.

The only barrier to murder in Islam, is the word "innocents" in Surah 2, otherwise the Quran is full of exhortations to murder unbelievers. So, whats an innocent? Well, thats the thing, it doesnt define an innocent other than, making very very clear in the rest of the Quran, that non-muslims are sub-humans for slaughter.

So this Muslims hasnt violated any part of the Quran, in fact, he can be claimed to be upholding its "apostate" commands.

I have this problem too. Now I'm wondering if I and my friends who face similar problems can ever be muslims.

I have been praying 5 times a day to allah for as long as I know and my parents always make sure I take kosher.

I try to be a good muslim with my friend who is a Jew, but I was saddened to know when I read the q'uran that allah wants me to stay away from him. Qur’an 5:51 “Believers, take not Jews and Christians for your friends.” WHY?

Last week, when I discussed this with my Imam, he told me that it is true that Jews are evil people. Then he showed me this from our famous bukhari. Bukhari [4:52:177]: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him!"

I am now very sad. I want to be a good man, but it seems allah wants me to do all these things that I cannot bring myself to do.

Dear muslim brothers/sisters. What should I do? Do you think I can ever be a true muslim because I don't do what allah teaches here?Salaam

Pakistan has declared Ahmadis to be non-Muslims. In 1974, the government of Pakistan amended its constitution to define a Muslim "as a person who believes in finality of Prophet Muhammad". [3] As a result, Ahmadis have been the target of many attacks led by various religious groups. [4]

If he is truly infidel and trying to influence good Muslims to be infidel than only God will be able to punish him.
Good Muslims will not be strayed easily if they do it means their foundation on their religion is weak.
So whatever it is, those Muslims that strayed got themselves to blame because they can be influenced easily.

No its not okay for any Muslim to any kill people, non-Muslim, Muslim, Athesits, Chritians, Catholic,.... According to the Quran, murders of any faith who do not repend and refrain against anyone of any faith or creed will be granted Hell.
