you mean jute--course fiber that makes burlap. There are 2 asian plants that could be called yute. discovered when Britain was real big into trading with India (West India Trading Co) in 1700s. Both plants are used for that type of fiber that makes sacks.

If you mean slang, it's how Jamaicans say "youth"

The thing I bet you really mean is Lute. Thats either one of those medieval guitar looking things, bunch of strings or a substance like cement used for packing and sealing a pipe joint so that liquid and gas cant enter it. Slang-sealing a joint up tight before you light it
