Ever notice how so many people are experts...full-fledged experts on Satan. How many times have you heard "Well, Satan works like..." or "Satan doesnt work like that, hes a deciever, what he does is..".
I mean, no hedging or humility at all. I dont even think I have ever heard someone say "Well, I think Satan works by doing X buts its hard to say". NO! Everyones an expert using conclusory "expert" language.
I guess Satan is not so smart after all, because it appears that the most igorant people in our culture have him all figured out. If I was God, I would fire him and get someone smarter.

They have no desire to pay attention and realize they are responsible, the entire world blames something else for its own problem, mistake, error... and I could go on and on!

I see where you are coming from. But a lot of people are attacked by Satan and his army on a daily basis. This is how people get so familiar with Satan's tactics. If you look all throughout history his deceiving way have always worked, that's why he doesn't change them. Btw Satan is incredibly smart. It says he knows all the wrongs everyone has done and holds them against those people. He knows your weaknesses, and mine, unfortunately. But there is no way to say when, where, or how Satan will attack us. But I am sure of this, he will and has. As believers we are given discernment by God to see right through Satan's ways. Some people know more than others. But you can't discredit our experiences fighting against the dark powers and principalities that rule over everyone's flesh.

LOL! Good question. I think their expertise is based on their own fantasy about the nature of Satan. Kinda like the current trend in people who think they can accurately psycho-analyze others. Everyone's an expert on Satan, and they're psychologists.

Satan is Christianity's boogey man. Every child knows the boogey man can be found under your bed, in your closet, in your basement, and anywhere else a child is afraid to go. Children are experts on the boogey man. They know when he comes, when he doesn't, which body parts taste the best to him, and so on.
My point is, the reason children are so well-versed on the ways of the boogey man is because they made him up themselves. So it goes with Christians and Satan. They drew on stories they'd heard from generations before, and embellished on it, and in doing so became experts.
But, neither exist. So don't worry yourself over it.
