1US Dollar = .76 Euro
1US Dollar = .52 Pound
1Euro = .68 Pound

Reversed that would be:
1Euro = 1.32 US Dollar
1Pound = 1.93 US Dollar
1Pound = 1.46 Euro

Republic of Ireland is Euro, while Northern Ireland is Pound. I'd estimate, whatever the currency, breakfast is about 5, lunch is about 10, and dinner is 15 - 20. So make sure you have about 40 Pounds or Euros per day for food. Anything that you don't spend on the food budget can be spent on pints of Guinness or included into your shopping budget. Shopping can vary depending on what you really want. If you're all about the Waterford crystal and wool sweaters that can be very pricey indeed. You could spend all up to 1,000 on things like that. If you're like me, however, you will love the cheap tourist souveniers. You could buy to your heart's content with just 50. Even better are the free souveniers - shells from the beach, ticket stubs, attraction guides, and of course all the pictures you can take.

Ireland uses the Euro. As far as for food and other daily spending, plan on spending what you would in a city like Chicago. Europe is more expensive than the US, but Ireland is cheaper than the UK (outrageous) or France.
