I do not necessarily believe these things, but this is what "they" say about dreams involving teeth.

~ Can't get your teeth into something: You have little control over the situation.
~ Losing your teeth: This has to do with loss in general, such as loss of youth and anxiety about getting older. Some say it represents death.
~ Rotten tooth: This is a symbol of painful feelings that will keep aching until you find relief. This may be related to a problem in a relationship or having said some hurtful words to someone.
~ Bleeding gums: This indicates a loss of life force through lack of support from those around you.
~ False teeth: This represents a fear of losing your sense of true self, that is a loss of honesty and integrity.

urban legends tell it's a bad omen. An accident or death in your family.
Psychology says it's your fear of not being able to support yourself, or fear of not being up to the situations. You can't chew properly, you can't feed yourself properly.
I say you might be clenching your jaws, making your teeth hurt while you sleep thus making your mind elaborate dreams of you losing your teeth.
