I am trying to apply a visa to go to Belgium but one of the requirements is to have an invitation letter from someone in the country. Well, my bf is going to make me one but we just dont know whether we have to mention that we are lovers or just friends and what are things should be included? Do you guys have any idea how to make one? please I need to apply by the end of this week and I dont want to ruin it just because the invitation letter doesnt make sense. Thanks for any input.

The letter of invitation should first of all state full name of a person inviting you for a visit, his passport information, address and legal status
Same information regarding the person whom he invites
Intent of the visit
Information regarding who will be responsible for covering expanses during your stay in the country.

It should be enough to state that you are invited for a visit. If Embassy would choose to find more detailed information about your relationships and how long you know each other they would ask these questions at the interview.

The letter of invitation must contain the intent of the visit, the status of the host, address and who will shoulder the expenses.
