Be sure she has a warm, clean place to lie with them. Offer her food and water. Praise her alot.
Don't take the kittens away from her.
She should be fine.

I've been through this lots of times. Make sure you keep mom and babies in a warm room in a box. For the first 3 days you will want to use newspapers in the box. That way you can throw the papers away when they get bloody or wet. Don't worry about the blood if there is a little bit. This is normal. After 3 days put a clean blanket in the box. The mom will take care of the babies herself. Make sure you put her food and water near her box. You don't need to take them to the vet, unless the mother is having complications. It sounds like they are doing fine. Good luck.

relax your cat will be fine, animals don't have to go to hospitals when they give birth, its all by instinct. ive been fortunate enough to experience puppy birth and an accidental mouse birth, if there is anything wrong with the mother or the kittens take them to a vet. have fun with your new kittens!
p.s. control the animal population and consider getting your cat fixed

i got a call one night from a friend whose cat had given birth. all of the babies were tangled up in their cords. we had to very gentley cut the cords off of them. two of them lost a leg because the cord cut off circulation too long. but they ended up fine. her other cat was in labor and the first kitten got stuck with only its head hanging out. she rushed her to the vet and the mother and 3 babies lived. they were unusually large kittens and that is why the one got stuck, his shoulders were wider than mommas opening. so just be prepared for anything!! i had tons of cats when living on a farm and all of them did fine.

this is the best site about kittens and cats... read the articles, they are very helpful. You might want to call your vet and tell them about the new kitties. If you don't have a vet... call your nearest petsmart, they have the benfield pet hospital OR check the yellow pages for a 24/7 vet.

Nothing. Cats have been having kittens since the begining of time without any help. Just make sure you do not handle the kittens too much.

Leave them alone for now and call your vet. Many vets want to see Mom and kittens shortly after birth. My cat had kittens on Saturday night and we are going to the vet today.

no need for an animal hospital, when we bred cats, ours was fine, just let them be, if the mother is taking care of them - if she lets you, put them in the litter box when they are a few days old, but as babies the mother will probably lick them clean (ew, right), just make sure she's fed well!
Congratulations!

She should be able to take care of them on her own, it's instinctual....but I suggest you get her spayed once the kittens are weaned. There are already way too many unwanted kittens out there and the last thing this world needs is more!
