If so,they have a sign out front that says "Unsaved,Unwelcome". Surely not.

I don't know anything about the Landover Baptist Church, but if they have such a sign and that's all it says, then you may need to go to a different church. If this is your regular church, then you should ask someone in authority there exactly what the sign is supposed to mean to make sure there is no misunderstanding.
I myself am Baptist (Southern), but regardless of the denomination of the church, if they truly do not welcome both the saved and unsaved, poor or rich, etc etc they are not staying true to the Christian faith and beliefs.

I certainly hope that they don't mean that the way it sounds. Maybe the whole saying is Unsaved, Unwelcome in heaven. Anyway, using only a part of a quote or taking it out of context & therefore changing the meaning, is wrong.

Well, I don't think it was the church that chosed the sign. Here in Sydney Australia every church has the same sign. So, it isn't the church that chooses it.

Unsaved to them , means Unwelcome in Heaven. ....not that the public is not welcome. (obviously, not everyone feels this way)

The fact that you have to ask is the whole point.
