Not really...they just get the majority of the cement off of your teeth, so there could probably be stray remains of cement next time you get them cleaned by the dentist...so the answer is no, they dont clean them right there, and you should go to the dentist soon after.

They will clean your teeth for you. They want to make sure to get off all the excess glue that might have been left on the tooth from the bracket.

They don't clean your teeth. That is not their job. That is your dental hygienist's job. They just remove the braces.

Really good question! I think they do a mild cleaning, but definitely not the whole sha-bang like at the dentists office.he following sites contain a LOT of really helpful information.

you'll have to see the dentist. orthodontist's don't clean teeth.

Your ortho should clean them. If not, raise hell you paid a buttload of money for them.
