This is close to how THEY did it-- Use some Poly Fil (pillow stuffing), make a tight ball with it and bobby-pin it onto your head. Brush your hair evenly over the "pillow" and spray it REALLY well, then pin it in place. Pull the ends of your hair into a tight bun on top of the pillow, and pin into place. If you have a hard time getting it to stay up, apply a spiking pomade to it first, then blow-dry it till it's really stiff. Tie a bright-colored ribbon around the base of the bun, and stud your hair with artificial baby's breath, rhinestones, etc, to finish the look. If you want, you could even use a pale pink or blue temprary dye spray, and tint your hair with it, as this was also fashionable at the time. Rim your hairline with tiny pincurls, held in place with more bobby pins, and you'll look like an Imperial Goddess!

Always start with a moose as a base and then you can either tease4 it, or curl it and style with a good hairspray, practice. Your hair always looks good, and works better for you if you dont wash it for a day

DONT use gel...it will bogg down your hair and make it fall. use a lot of volumizing hair mouse when your hair is wet, and then style it and blow dry until completely dry. then, use AEROSOL hairspray, not spray from a bottle, because spray from a bottle will also bogg downyour hair, make it heavy, and make it fall. believe me, my hairdresser showed my how to add volume and body to my hair one day, and it really works!

Tease it up, and spray the living daylights out of it!
