Are you sure that wasn't me. My cat's leash trained. He loves it when I get out the leash. All I have to do is shake the leash, and he'll coming running to me. He also sits in my lap when I'm driving and will look out the window. He's kind of a weird cat. I think he thinks he's a dog.

confident, I even have leash experienced a number of cats. Get a delicate harness and a mild weight leash (I even have an fairly previous determine 8 nylon harness yet i don't understand in the event that they are nonetheless accessible). I even have experienced cats at countless a protracted time. start up interior and have the cat ware the harness for 10 or quarter-hour. Then slightly longer. Then upload the leash. After some days, take the cat exterior. do no longer anticipate the cat to stroll in a well timed fashion like a canine. they have a tendency to meander, scent issues and do it their way, yet they do get exterior and that they do savor themselves. I nonetheless undergo in strategies strolling the cat as quickly as we lived interior the mountains. The canine could march purposefully down the course. The cat could wander alongside after her. the different canine could race around as though to assert. "Hurry up adult men. Why are we strolling sooo sluggish. won't be able to that cat flow any speedier? Why will we could desire to consistently take her"

My wife and I have three cats, one of which is leash trained because he is the only one who likes to go outside. if we didn't have him trained, then he would run and not know where to go, I guarantee it. Leash training for cats is not as taboo and uncommon as some think. Some cats act like dogs, and like the ability to be able to socialize like dogs do.

I've heard of this but I can't imagine training our cat! I think you'd have to start the training VERY early in the cat's life.

You bet you can leash train a cat but you have to start when they are young and ALWAYS use a harness, never a collar!
