just kidding A Christian is a follower of Jesus of Nazareth, referred to as the Christ. Christians believe Jesus to be the Son of God, who lived a life free of sin, who at the end of his earthly life was crucified, and then on the third day, rose from the dead, and later ascended into heaven, with the promise to return.

Most Christians believe in the Trinity or One God in three persons: Father (the Source, the Eternal Majesty); the Son (the eternal Logos or Word, incarnate as Jesus of Nazareth); and the Holy Spirit (the Paraclete or advocate). Today, it is estimated that there are approximately 2.1 billion Christians

Being a Christian is literally a disciple of Christ Jesus. A follower, not just a believer, the Bible says that even the Devil believes that God is real. Being a Christian means having a real and living relationship with Christ. Being a Christian is in Dictionary terms 'a person who exemplifies in his or her life the teachings of Christ.' We are to be the salt and the light of the world. Jesus gave us the how-to-live-like-a-Christian guide in the Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes are examples of what the Christian life will look like. (Matthew 5). Also check out the Fruit of the Spirit, for the mentioned 'fruit' will be products of the Christian life. =)

God Bless!

It is surely not just a person who "follows Jesus" as their Bible stated. In the last 2000 years the humans in power over the followers of Jesus have added all kind of do and don't, and bells and Whistles, born and born again, limits and goals, and costs and profits, and loving and hating, all over those two simple words--follow Jesus.

Christianity is an organized religion... I hate that word... It shouldn't be about your religion but your faith...
Anyway, a Christian is someone who claims both the Old and New Testaments are true... They also believe Jesus was, in fact, Christ. That's honestly all that separates them from Jewish believers...
Any help?

opinion is not an authority on this, the church is. The Catholic church and others much like them, Anglican and Lutheran, all define a Christian as a Baptized Person.
