wma stands for windows media audio, it is a type of audio file that would be played in windows media player. if you have windows media player installed but the file wont open then it could just be somthing wrong with the file association, to change this (xp user) open my documents or another folder of the type and on the top toolbar click tools>folder options>file types. then look for the extension WMA and make sure windows media player is opening it, if not click change and choose the right program, link to windows media player for you if you dont have it...

WMA is Windows Media Audio and that mean is an audio file. Second you can't play it on anything. The device that you will play this need to be able to play wma because this is a standar windows file and not all player play this kind of files. Now on the third problem you can't play mp3 on Windows Media Player unless you install a plugin that configure your player to play those files. Quicktime and some other player plays mp3 without any other plugin. Now if you have play mp3 in WMP and now you can't that mean that you install QT and now the mp3 are configure to play in QTand not on WMP. Hope this help

Windows Media Audio so music or analogue. If you have Windows Media Player it is best to try and change your settings first (to play all formats) so that you are sure there is a fault with your player and not with the audio or perhaps your speakers itself. Before downloading try checking the license or right click on your song and attempt to convert the media format. Good luck!
