I think he was the founder and first ever MMA(mixed martial artist) so do you think he would have beaten anyone put infront of him?

Ok say for instance he was in his late 20s and maybe a bit heavier to make the weight class.

Chucks got the power but Bruce has the speed!
I think Bruce could land a one punch KO within seconds of the first round starting.

2 facts that i just found out about bruce lee...
Bruce Lee's striking speed from 3 feet away was five hundredths of a second.
Bruce was able to break a 150lb bag with a sidekick.
Anyone, any size, any ring/cage, i think he would win hands down everytime.

Look man, all of us are big Bruce Lee fans, but don't think that he is unstoppable because of his legendary status. Lee was very brilliant, and he improved martial arts overall in America. My take is that he would have been at the top of the game, and a few steps ahead of the other fighters like Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock in UFC 1.

bruce lee in his prime could have beaten anybody in the UFC regardless of weight, this is called "talent"
a REAL fighter or a real street fighter does not worry about "weight division" or heavier punches or wrestling abilities: the real concern in a real fight is to WIN, in this category, bruce lee is most capable
he's only struggle would be the restraints in the UFC, you see; bruce lee's philosophy is that in a real fight, biting, eye gauging, a kick to the groin or the neck is completely legal, and so these are the restraint that he hates and so i think althought UFC is full contact, the essence of a real fight is still limited that bruce will eventually hate it.
bruce grew up in a place where street fighting is held without any referee or judges. he said that "in a real match, there is no need for referee because the outcome of the match will automatically declare the winner"
it is also his view that competetions like karatedo or any restricted martial arts contest somehow dulls a martial artist that eventually make him less effective because of improper practice. that somehow, the restraints in a contest becomes a fighter's NORM that restricts him to be more effective in a real fight.
exhibition matches doesn't mean a thing, its just like two boys playing.
if you have been in real fights with real effective opponents, you will use every trick you have in order to win, this is the very essence why bruce is impartial to martial arts competitions

Assuming Bruce was as young as those guys, I would say no one. Bruce Lee was a great martial artist, but it takes a great deal more than that to cut it in the UFC. Besides, Jeet Kune Do, while a mixture of various disciplines of fighting, didn't have a ground side to it. Bruce Lee even lost to wrestlers in exhibition bouts, and when asked what he would do in a real fight in that situation he said "I would bite you of course". Bruce Lee was an icon in Martial Arts, that is no doubt. But I don't feel he could hang in the UFC of today.

Yes. Anyone & I mean anyone can be beaten! Every fighter no matter how much of an underdog always has a punchers chance for a TKO. Bruce would've probably fought in the lightweight division and have dominated it like Matt Hughes dominated the welterweight division only to be beaten by the next up & comer to reign over that division like how St. Pierre beat Hughes after so many successful title defenses.

In his prime he could've been one of the best...come on people...the guy was incredibly quick...i don't know if he'd beat everyone because a powerful yet somewhat quick fighter like chuck liddell can land that powerful right hand, and we don't really know how strong his jaw or chin were...however there are not many to match his skill besides, he's like the father of mixed martial arts...until him not many combined various forms of martial arts as one

he would've been in the lightweight or maybe middleweight divisions.. he wouldn't be able to compete with anyone like Chuck Liddell.. not even in his prime.. Bruce might have had more martial arts skills than Chuck, but Chuck is a lot more physically powerful..

Great martial artist that he was, considering he would have been in his 50's when UFC started and outweighed everywhere by 150 pounds sadly I think he would have taken a beating.

any jiu jitsu fighter would submit him in 1 minute unless he learnt submission defence, if he did then who know how far he could have gone, he also would need to improve his wrestling defence ie the sprawl if he did both of these and i think he would because he was very open minded then he could be the lightweight champ.
if ur talking open weight then he would be thrashed buy the likes of cro cop and fedor but then again they are 100lb heavier
