okay so i like this guy...which the whole school says that he likes me back...and i think he does too...so i told him that i liked him the same day i started getting rumors...then he said ok and kept on smiling at me. but didnt ask me out or anything. right after i told him...he gave me a hug but still didnt tell me that he likes me back...then we started talking and i wasnt looking at him but i noticed that he kept on looking at me whenever hes talking to me...then kept on smiling...then when he reached his bus...he hugged me one last time...and went on his bus and smiled one last time...DOES HE LIKE ME OR WHAT???

Sounds like he's playing games to me. Is there any way he can be more direct? Please don't get your friends to mediate, they will embellish it just to make it more exciting for you.
I am going to give you some advice, carrying on being your wonderful self. Excel in your school work, and you know what? he'll come hassling you soon enough. It will drive him crazy to know that you like him but haven't taken it any further.
