But since I had lived with him for about 4 years with my uncle living there to we became closer then he died. I am having depression and mood swings majourly. It had taken a very bad effect on my life...How did you cope with the loss of a loved one?

I am very sorry for your loss. I lost both of my parents and it was very hard on me. In fact, I lost my beloved aunt just this morning.
I have anxiety disorder and I am on medications for it. I think the loss of my parents triggered it. I also have seen a therapist and counselor. Please seek help if you feel you need it. Dont live your life suffering from depression without treating it. I wish you the best of luck. Time helps to heal the pain. Remember the good times. Your dad will always remain with you - in your heart. Again, I am so sorry.

Just think about the positive times you had with him, it's normal to become moody when you lose a loved one, you feel like no one understands but we do. Learn from his mistake and don't do this to your future children cause you know how much it hurts. Pick up a few hobbies, make a few new friends, help around the house, do everything positive that you can that will help. God bless and good luck.

All you can do is take it one day at a time and remember you have alot of people who love you and worry about you. It may not seem like it at times but if you look around you will notice. I have been there. Hope all goes well for you and try talking to someone about the way you feel.

It's mostly time. Just know that it does get better and it happens to all of us for a reason. If it does get too much talk face to face with someone, friend, counselor, etc. Don't ever think that you can't talk to someone.
