I'm a college student and I work in a movie theater part time as a BS kinda job. Anyway I get movies for free when I'm not working at any AMC and I can bring two guests. DURING my shifts, ONLY my immediate family members can come in to see a free movie. I thought they could go to any AMC while I'm working and the manager will call it in to that AMC manager bc I thought the manager said that in the interview. Anyway it turned out to be false. My family have to come to MY AMC to get the free movie on my shift. Well last night my mom, her guy friend, and his mom and friend were going to an AMC diff from mine but in the same city. I said "Just say you and your friend are married (being my mom and dad) and go to guest service, etc, and your free tickets will be there." Well of course when I ask my manager he says he can't do that.
Anyway, it turns out (just found out five minutes ago) my mom never even went to guest services because she was too embarassed to say call her friend, Kevin, her

What do you think? Stupid not to do that in order to get two free movie tickets? Do you think this means they like each other more than friends? I mean they do everything together. Go out to eat, he pays, takes walks, go on vacation together, once alone, a few times with their families, etc, but she refuses to say they're dating.

this souds like when i ewas at this place nad theis man kept on saying "..and my lady friend..." it was really annoying and we endided up like saying just say my gf or something

This is interest. You should share this story with Kevin and see what he thinks. It kinda make you wonder what type of relationship your mom have with this man.There can be a lot involve and you can learn some truth about the relationship of your mom as well.
Ask your mom when is she going to married him? Then see what she says. Thanks for sharing your story.

ok so your question is what? is she stupid for not getting into the movies for free? no i dont think so. i wouldnt use my daughter for that. i can pay my way. thank you. does she not want to admit that she and he are dating? who cares if they are or not. she is getting out and doing things, she doesnt have to play the dating game, so to speak. she is comfortable with him and he her. leave that alone. she is happy.
